the mournful howl that renders
meaningless the decaying light
the earth's dead and hardened fingers
fracturing the moon's cold stare

bones hollowed out by sorrow
knees dig into the grief stained soil
collapsing in despondent tremors
the wounded sky surrenders it's tears

beg for death
cold black death

emaciated earth drinks in the desperate pleas for darkness
the infinite womb ruptures and births the newly damned

six feet under
drenched in decay
mouths of maggots
cry for release

swathed in darkness
dead fingers claw
at rotting caskets
and crumbling dirt

a putrid swelling
the stench of death reborn
corpses rising
from their dreamless sleep

mother's skin ruptures
children of the grave
shambling forward frenzied
relentless undead horde

rotting jaws clench the flailing limbs
panicked realization of darkness closing in

sinking neath the surface
dead weight crippling frantic
moon's light fading as
death's maw widens beckoning
